Police officers involved in the abduction of innocent Kenyans during recent protests have come under fire from a lobby group, which has called on Police IG Douglas Kanja to take swift action.
In a strongly worded statement, the group condemned the transfer of these officers to other stations, asserting that such moves fail to address the seriousness of their actions. They insisted that the officers should face proper punishment, including imprisonment, rather than merely being relocated.
The group further threatened legal action, warning Kanja that if he does not take immediate action, they will move to court the following day. "Transferring officers who killed our sons during protests is not justice. They must be jailed," the statement declared.
The lobby group has made it clear that failure to act will result in legal repercussions, demanding that the transferred officers be recalled and held accountable.
