In Vihiga County, a school principal attached to Banja Secondary School risks losing his job after he accidentally sent an inappropriate video to the students WhatsApp group. As reported by one of the sources in the county, the parents were in shock after learning that the students were discussing the video.
"I was shocked that I heard my child laughing while in the sitting room, and he was with my phone, and I wondered what made him overreact, and when I looked at the phone, the school WhatsApp group, I learned she was watching an inappropriate video. She told me it was sent by the school principal," a parent said.
According to the report, the parents were forced to take a stride at the school to seek answers from the school administrator, and upon arriving, the principal pleaded with them for forgiveness, letting out the clip that was to be sent to his daughter-in-law and accidentally landing in the students WhatsApp group.
However, the parents ordered the principal to delete the WhatsApp group to avoid further dilemmas that may interrupt learning for students.
