As reported by a reliable source, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga issued a warning to President William Ruto on Sunday, following Ruto’s plan, which Odinga believes could result in trouble in the future.
According to the report, the president was considering using force to prevent his opponents from undermining him and his administration.
Raila Odinga informed the president that such a plan was not promising and was not the right approach. He stressed that using force to silence opponents who are inciting Kenyans into violence or encouraging boycotts would only create more problems.
The former prime minister urged the president to find a more creative and appropriate solution to address the challenges he is facing—challenges that also pose a threat to the people of Kenya.
Raila also repeatedly advised President Ruto to seek counsel from the Kenyan people who elected him to office, rather than resorting to excessive force in search of solutions.
