Ruto Donates KSh 20 Million to Church in Eldoret, Vows to Continue Supporting Churches Amid Criticism

On Sunday, President William Ruto made a significant donation of KSh 20 million to the AIC Fellowship Annex in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.

Following the gesture, the President expressed his unwavering commitment to supporting churches, despite growing criticism from some individuals and politicians questioning his charitable contributions.

Addressing the congregation, President Ruto explained that his donations are motivated by faith, emphasizing that his contributions are made as offerings to God.

He reassured the crowd, stating, "As you have witnessed, I have given KSh 20 million to this church, and yet some people, whom I don't even know, continue to raise concerns. I wonder what bothers them when I give what little I have to God. I will not stop; I will continue to give."

The President also reaffirmed his dedication to supporting various sectors in the country, highlighting that his philanthropic efforts would extend beyond the church.

His remarks were met with applause and support from the congregation, demonstrating the strong connection between his leadership and faith-based communities.
