Millions of people in the central United States could face dangerous weather on Easter Sunday. Strong storms, heavy winds, and even tornadoes are expected to hit parts of the southern Plains and the Midwest.
This comes just one day after deadly storms hit Texas and Oklahoma. In Moore, Oklahoma, flooding swept away a car, killing two people. One of them was a 12-year-old boy.
Weather experts say the risk is high again on Sunday. A powerful storm system is moving from the Texas Panhandle towards the Midwest. This could bring more heavy rain, strong winds, and tornadoes.
People living in these areas are being warned to stay alert and keep an eye on the weather. Storm warnings are already in place, with different colours showing the level of danger:
Yellow means a thunderstorm warning
Red means a tornado warning
Purple means a confirmed tornado
Green means a flood warning
Pink means a serious flood emergency
Stay safe and follow local weather updates if you're in an affected area.
